
The future is bright at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary! Our students are exploring the exciting world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in this engaging class. Who knows, maybe we have some future scientists and engineers in the making!

The Student Health Center along with BHHS staff and National Honor Society will be hosting a Voter Registration event tomorrow, March 14th, for the students of Class of 2024.
The event will be in the PAC during the 12th grade Tiger Time. Please have students bring their State of Michigan ID or know their social security number so that they can register.


So excited to share that we have over 20 elementary students' artwork showcased at the Community Student Art Exhibition at the Box Factory for the Arts! The opening ceremony for the exhibition will be from 6-8pm on Thursday, March 14th! See you there! #TigerPride #TigerExcellence

Just a reminder, tomorrow, March 8, 2024, is a Virtual Learning Day. There is no in school learning for all BHAS students.
All assignments will be posted online or given to students today as work packets. Assignments must be turned in or returned by Monday in order to receive a grade. Throughout the day, be sure to respond to all two-way communication efforts from your child’s school.


So exciting to see our partnership with Michigan Dental Outreach's SMILE Program serve several of our students at MLKJ Elementary today! Students not only received dental services, they also learned more about dentistry & hygiene!
They will be at Fair Plain Middle School tomorrow!

Hello DEC and MLK Families,
Due to a power outage affecting our schools today, Thursday, February 29, 2024, we will be dismissing DEC and MLK students early. Before dismissal, students and staff will be transported to Benton Harbor High School for lunch. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. from Benton Harbor High School. Thank you for your continued support of our students and schools.


Come out tomorrow and see what our students at Fair Plain East Elementary have prepared to celebrate Black History Month! The program starts at 1pm.

Congratulations to Anay'sia Washington on being awarded the McDonald's Black History Maker Scholarship! Anay'sia was 1 of 12 local high school seniors in the area to receive this scholarship from McDonald’s of Greater Indiana and Southwest Michigan! What a great accomplishment! #TigerPride
