One of our students proudly exclaimed, "Hey she looks like me!" as Dr. Rice opened up Change Sings, written by Amanda Gorman. Very grateful for the hardwork put in by our staff and community to get such an initiative brought to our young learners! On Monday, April 8th, a solar eclipse will occur between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm. While we won't experience totality, we'll witness an impressive 95% coverage! Before Monday, please discuss the eclipse and the importance of eye safety with your child. Emphasize that they should never look directly at the sun without proper protection, even for a brief moment. Together, we can ensure a safe and educational experience for everyone as we learn about this awe-inspiring event.
