Science is more exciting when it's hands on! Before the snowy weather arrived, our students had the opportunity to explore different local ecosystems and learn about the wildlife inhabit them. #SarettNatureCenter #TigersExplore

Today, BHAS students joined the community in celebrating the Unified Civic Monuments Project, unveiling two monuments dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event featured Martin Luther King III, the eldest son of Dr. King and Coretta Scott King, as the honored guest and speaker.
The day began with a ceremony at the Margaret B. Upton Arboretum in St. Joseph, featuring a joint performance of "Take My Hand, Precious Lord" by the Benton Harbor and St. Joseph High School bands. Following the ceremony, attendees participated in a community march to the Dwight P. Mitchell City Center Park in Benton Harbor for the second unveiling.
This unforgettable day celebrated Dr. King's enduring legacy of unity, justice, and equality, bringing history to life for our students and community. ✊🏾✨

We love when our students get a unique opportunity to learn about the critters that exist in our environment! Check out our curious learners as they get up close, safely of course, to a praying mantis! Shout out to our DEC staff for incorporating such excitement into our students' everday learning. #TigerPride

Thank you to all the families that came out to FPE's Math Mania this week! Participants were able to work on multiplication problems after a quick lesson from Mrs. Wilson. It was a joy to see the students work on their tic tac toe boards with the help of their parents. For future events, make sure to check their calendar on our website and app! #FamilyEngagement #MathMania #FPE #BHAS #TigerPride

CTE Construction students had an incredible opportunity to visit the University of Notre Dame! They met with Mr. Anthony Polotto, Senior Director of Construction and Quality Assurance, who oversees all construction projects on campus.
During their visit, students toured the nearly completed McCourtney Hall, a 220,000-square-foot research facility. They explored the research classrooms and got a hands-on look at the final stages of construction, gaining valuable insights into what goes into preparing a building for use.
This was an inspiring experience for our future builders! 🛠️
