We appreciate everything you do!

This week, we are honoring the incredible educators who go above and beyond to support our students’ growth and success. Please join us in showing your appreciation by encouraging your child to write a thank-you card or share a kind word with their teacher.

The Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) and staff from the Benton Harbor Student Health Center attended Youth Advocacy Day 2026 on April 28th in Lansing.
While there, the students met with 4 different Representative's teams and discussed the impact of Student Health Centers in their lives and their school/communities. The students were wonderful representations of the youth of Benton Harbor and even had the opportunity to listen to a speech by Gov. Whitmer. The TAC from Benton Harbor Student Health Center had been requesting the Governor of Michigan to come and speak to the youth for the last 2 years. The organizers of the event stated that their requests and persistence played a vital part in getting the Governor to come to the event.
