BHHS student Franklin Ruiz completed his first flight through the CTE Aviation program offered by Countryside Academy! On the first day of fall, Franklin took the controls of a Cessna 172, lifting off from Southwest Michigan Regional Airport.

Through CTE partnerships, BHHS students can access specialized career and technical education programs offered at other area schools, expanding their opportunities to explore future careers.

What an incredible hands-on learning experience and milestone. Congratulations, Franklin! 🐅✈️
