


Please fill out the form to sign your students up for classes beginning Monday, June 15th and ending on Thursday, July 23rd, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The program will run face-to-face with breakfast and lunch provided on-site.
Students in grades K - 5 will meet at Fair Plain East Elementary School, and students 6 - 12 will meet at Fair Plain Middle School.

Dear Families,
We would like to share important information regarding our upcoming Spring Benchmark State Testing. Testing will take place on the following dates:
🗓️ Testing Dates:
• April 14, 2026 - 8th Grade Only
• April 15, 2026 - 6th & 7th Grade Only
• April 21, 2026 - 8th Grade Only
These assessments are an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning and growth throughout the school year.
⏰ Important Reminder:
All students must arrive on time on testing days. Students will not be admitted after 8:30 AM, as testing will already be in progress.
💻 Asynchronous Learning Days:
• 6th & 7th Grade: April 14 & April 21
• 8th Grade: April 15
Students will receive assignments on asynchronous days and are expected to complete and submit them the following day for credit.
✅ How to Support Your Student:
• Ensure they get 8–10 hours of sleep
• Provide a healthy breakfast
• Encourage a positive mindset
• Limit screen time the night before testing

Our next Woman of Impact is Elnora Gavin, a lifelong Benton Harbor resident and a proud "Tiger Mom" who has dedicated her career to education justice. As an alumn of Benton Harbor High School, Howard and Harvard Kennedy School of Government, she returned home to serve on the BHAS Board and lead the FRESH START Coalition. Her leadership has been instrumental in championing our schools. As a pillar of the community, Elnora works tirelessly to protect our institutions and invest in the next generation of leaders.
