My name is Patricia Taylor.  I'm a native of Benton Harbor and a 1978 graduate of Benton Harbor High School.  I attended Grand Valley for two years.  I am a single parent of one.

My son Darius Anderson is an alumni of McCord Renaissance and a 1999 graduate of Benton Harbor High School.  He received his associates degree in Human Services in June of 2002, and is working toward his bachelor's degree at Baker College in Muskegon, Michigan.  Never let it be said that single parent's can't make it work because my son and I are living proof.  I am very, very proud of him and will continue to give him the love and support that he needs and deserves.I have worked in the BHAS Food Service Department for 17 years and enjoy watching so many children grow up and become productive members of our society.

Although I'm the lunch lady (as some of the kids call me), I hope that I've had a positive effect on at least one of our youth that has passed through the district in my years of service.
