Hi, my name is Mr. Swanson.

Well actually my name is Erick Swanson.  I'm just Mr. at School.  This is my second year at McCord Renaissance.  I teach art and have really enjoyed the time that I have spent in the Benton Harbor Area Schools.

My home town is Fremont, MI but I currently live near the lake with my dog Roxy. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in education and a minor in art.  I love art and I love to teach.  Away from the classroom I can be found at the beach, snowboarding, skateboarding or spending time with my girl friend Sara.  I also enjoy backpacking, mountain biking, and camping.  Oh yeah, I like to play XBOX as well.  My only plan for the future is to keep enjoying what I am doing and not try to make too much of a plan for the future.  Thanks for taking a second to find out something about me.  Peace.
