PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS
- Child must be at least 4 years old, but not 5, by December 1 of the beginning of the academic school year.
- Child must reside in the Benton Harbor School District.
- Child's family must meet financial criteria.
- Parent must provide transportation.

- Child's Birth Certificate
- Child's Immunization Record
- Child's Social Security Card
- Child's Insurance Card
- Proof if Residence in Benton Harbor School District
- Proof of Income

Registration Card Updates
It's important to update student registration cards each fall. The information on the cards is kept confidential and is very important in emergency situations because phone numbers are listed.
Please keep school principals informed if your phone number or address changes.
Secondary Registration
Registration for 10th - 12th graders is held at Benton Harbor High School during the month of August. We will be using the student commons for registration. All students should enter through the courtyard doors off of Empire.
Please bring the following items with you to register :
- A recent telephone or utility bill to verify your current address.
- A completed Health form.
- A completed Lunch Application form.
- Cash or a money order (no personal checks) if you have an unpaid student debt (please note that students will not be allowed to register until the debt is paid).
During the registration process you will have the opportunity to place money into a pre-paid lunch account. You will also be photographed and will receive your student I.D.
