The Association, in cooperation with Michigan State
University, provides services such as coordination and administration
at school district/state department/university levels; legislative
program development; administrative and management research and
development; inservice training programs; workshops and conferences;
program introduction information; and similar services.
The Association and Michigan State University
provide an operational research organization headquartered on the East
Lansing campus.
The Board recognizes that the district is well
served by the cooperative efforts of the Middle Cities Education
Association and by the pooling of resources and efforts with Michigan
State University, and shall maintain membership and pay annual dues
and assessment fees as established by the Association.
Also, the Board encourages cooperation with other
Michigan colleges and universities in a variety of endeavors.
