EXTENDED
PROGRAMS/WORK-STUDY
The Board recognizes the need for a school-based cooperative education
program in the district. Such a program shall be provided to help
students implement their career plans and choose and successfully
reach placement goals. The specific objectives of this program shall
be choices in employment (full-time, part-time, permanent, and
temporary), the military, or continued education.
The final measure of the success of school-based cooperative
education shall be the satisfaction of students that these services
enabled them to meet their immediate career aspirations.
Every effort shall be made by the district to seek funding from a
variety of sources such as: state, federal, and local government
programs; and community-based and business organizations.
