PUBLIC INFORMATION PROGRAM
The Superintendent or designee shall be responsible for maintaining a public information program in the district that informs the community about the schools.

All school activities or events that are of public interest shall be reported to the Public Information Office by the Wednesday preceding each activity or event. The appropriate administrator shall utilize the "Weekly School Calendar" form to report activities in their individual schools or programs.

The Public Information Office shall be responsible for maintaining a district calendar of events. To avoid conflicts, all administrators shall be responsible for contacting that office when scheduling events that the public will be invited to attend.

All functions of the public information program shall be consistent with the goals of the district.
