STUDENTS ATTENDANCE/SCHOOL ADMISSIONS NON-RESIDENT STUDENTS
Students who reside outside the district and wish to attend may be admitted as non-resident tuition students provided:

  1. that the Superintendent or designee has approved their admission;
  2. that they live with their parents or legal guardian while in attendance;
  3. that tuition is paid in full within ten days of invoice;
  4. that a satisfactory school record is maintained; and
  5. that they enter in good standing from their previous district.

Parents of non-resident students shall be required to complete a "Non-Resident Student Information Form" (See JBCB-E) which shall be kept in the school office with a copy retained in the office of the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction.

Any student who moves out of the district following the official enrollment date may, with the approval of the Superintendent or designee, continue to attend school in the district without paying tuition until the end of that semester.

Seniors, who have been attending Benton Harbor High School and who are scheduled for graduation in June shall be permitted to continue until such scheduled graduation, tuition free.
