INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES/COMMUNITY INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES
The Board encourages the utilization of community resources in the instructional program of the schools.  The use of community resource personnel and school volunteers is encouraged whenever a legitimate educational objective may be advanced.

The Assistant Superintendents for Instruction shall maintain an up-to-date list of available resource people residing in the community. They shall also maintain an up-to-date list of suitable community resources, which may be utilized for field trips and other such excursions.  Building administrators shall obtain approval from their Assistant Superintendent for Instruction for utilizing community resource persons and scheduling field trips prior to the event.
