PARAPROFESSIONAL PERSONNEL NEGOTIATIONS SUPERINTENDENT'S ROLE
The Superintendent shall recommend a negotiating team to represent the Board and assist the Board's labor attorney, who shall serve as the Board's chief negotiator and spokesperson. The team shall be comprised of at least two administrator's who work directly with paraprofessional personnel; the Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Evaluation; and the Assistant Superintendent for Business and Finance. This team shall be approved by the Board at least one month prior to the expiration of the existing contract.

The Superintendent shall serve as an advisor to the negotiating team in all matters related to collective bargaining negotiations. He/She shall review administrative concerns for bargaining issues with the chief negotiator and the Board's legal liasion committee prior to the commencement of collective bargaining.
