PROFESSIONAL PERSONNEL NEGOTIATIONS SUPERINTENDENT'S ROLE
The Superintendent shall recommend
a negotiating team to represent the Board and assist the Board's labor
attorney, who shall serve as the Board's chief negotiator and
spokesperson. The team shall be comprised of at least two
administrator's who work directly with professional personnel and the
Superintendent or designee. This team shall be approved by the Board
at least one month prior to the expiration of the existing contract.
The Superintendent shall serve as an
advisor to the negotiating team in all matters related to collective
bargaining negotiations. The Superintendent shall review
administrative concerns for bargaining issues with the chief
negotiator and the Board's legal liaison committee prior to the
commencement of collective bargaining.
