PARAPROFESSIONAL PERSONNEL SENIORITY
Seniority shall be defined as an
employee's length of continuous service with the Board, beginning with
the most recent date of hire.
The Assistant Superintendent for
Personnel and Evaluation shall maintain seniority lists based upon the
most recent date of hire for all paraprofessional personnel.
All seniority lists shall be developed
and maintained in accordance with procedures set forth in the labor
agreement between the Board and the Benton Harbor Paraprofessional
Chapter of the Michigan Educational Support Personnel Association. The
lists shall be posted on the appropriate bulletin boards at least once
each semester, as specified in the labor agreement. The Board shall be
provided with copies of these seniority lists as well.
