PARAPROFESSIONAL PERSONNEL SUPERVISION/EVALUATION
The Board expects all district
employees to make a constant effort toward improvement. To encourage
this, a system for fair and effective supervision and evaluation shall
be developed and maintained by the Assistant Superintendent for
Personnel and Evaluation.
All paraprofessional personnel shall be
evaluated by their supervisor at least once each year. Evaluations
shall be made in writing and shall be submitted to the designated
administrator. All evaluations shall be kept in confidential personnel
files maintained in the personnel office. The employee shall receive a
copy of the evaluation.
Probationary employees shall be
evaluated at least twice during the school year and such evaluations
shall be reviewed prior to recommending the employee for permanent
placement.
