NONPROFESSIONAL PERSONNEL ORIENTATION
The Superintendent or designee
shall be responsible for implementing and maintaining an annual
orientation program for all newly hired employees of the district.
All new bus drivers shall attend the school bus
driver training program conducted by the Regional Training and Safety
Institute in conjunction with the State Department of Education.
All drivers shall receive advance in-service
training on school bus laws and safety on an annual basis. Bus drivers
shall be reimbursed for attending such training programs in accordance
with the collective bargaining agreement.
