PROFESSIONAL
PERSONNEL PERSONAL LEAVES AND ABSENCES
Personal leave with pay or partial
pay shall be granted only in accordance with Board policies and terms
of the labor agreement.
Personal leave without pay may on
occasion be granted, subject to the Superintendent's approval and
legal requirements.
The Board expects its teaching
personnel to schedule their vacations and trips during times when
school is not in session. Therefore, approval shall rarely be given to
requests for absence for recreational purposes. A full day's salary
shall be deducted for each day's absence in these instances.
Each member of the professional
personnel unit shall be allowed two days paid personal business leave
per school year.
