PROFESSIONAL
PERSONNEL LEAVE FOR CONFERENCES/VISITATIONS
The annual budget of the district
shall provide for school visitations and for district representation
at conferences, workshops, conventions, and school evaluation
committees.
Professional personnel whose requests
are approved, or who are assigned by the administrative staff to take
part in such activities, may do so at no loss of salary and at
district expense if so authorized.
Teachers who wish to attend meetings or
conferences shall submit requests in writing to their building
principal. Approval shall be given by the Assistant Superintendent for
Instruction and be dependent upon the availability of a substitute,
budgetary limitations, and general benefit to the district.
