PROFESSIONAL PERSONNEL
ASSIGNMENT AND TRANSFER
The Superintendent shall be responsible
for the proper assignment and transfer of all professional personnel,
however reassignments of professional personnel occurring during the
school year shall be in compliance with the existing labor agreement.
The Superintendent shall inform the Board of such changes in
assignments.
The preferences of teachers and other staff
members shall be considered in making assignments and transfers;
however, the best interests of students and the district shall be
given first consideration.
Care shall be exercised by the Superintendent
and other district administrators to assure that all schools are
equally staffed with effective teachers.
In case of vacancies in existing positions,
consideration shall be given to qualified applicants among current
staff members.
