PROFESSIONAL PERSONNEL POSITIONS
All professional personnel positions in the district shall be established initially by the Board.

In each case, the Board shall approve the broad purpose and function of the position in accordance with state laws and regulations, approve a statement of job qualifications and requirements as recommended by the Superintendent, and delegate to the Superintendent or designee the task of writing, or causing to be written, a job description for the position.

Although positions may remain temporarily unfilled, or the number of persons holding the same type of position reduced in the event of de-staffing requirements, only the Board may abolish a position that it has created.
