COMMUNICATIONS
Official communications are letters,
electronic communications, or proposals that set forth a binding
position by the school or District. It may also be a communiqué that
invites action on an established program or a decision by an
administrator, central office staff, or a board member.
Letters, communications or
proposals require approval by the building administrator, a member of
management in the District chain of command or the Superintendent or
designee.
Official correspondence should
be on letterhead, dated and signed by the sending party after obtaining
approval, as outlined in this policy.
Failure to adhere to this policy shall subject the
violator to GAKA – Disciplinary Policy and/or referral to the
appropriate police agency.
