STAFF PROTECTION
The Board recognizes a responsibility for the
protection of the health and safety of staff members and for assistance
in legal proceedings which may be brought against them in connection
with the performance of their assigned duties.
All personnel shall be supported in their efforts
to maintain good student discipline. Any excessively aggressive student
behavior, either physical or verbal, which is directed against a
district employee shall be brought to the attention of the building
administrator and dealt with as outlined in the "Uniform Code of
Discipline and Students' Rights and Responsibilities" handbook.
