SELECTION OF AN
ARCHITECT
The Board shall comply with current law for
the selection of an architect for the district’s building plans for new
construction and/or substantial renovation.
Contracts will be negotiated by the superintendent or designee with
qualified architectural firms requesting a submission of information
concerning their firms if they wish to be considered. A contract will be
prepared and signed with the architect. The school district legal
counsel shall review the contract and give approval before it is signed
by the authorized board representatives.
