WORKMEN'S
COMPENSATION
In accordance with the Michigan Worker's Compensation Act, insurance is
carried on all district employees, making them eligible for compensation
under such rules and regulations as shall be in effect at the time of
the accident.
All accidents shall be
reported immediately in accordance with regulations established by the
Superintendent.
Any administrator
who is absent because of an injury or disease compensable under the
Worker's Compensation Act may use accumulated sick leave in one-half
(1/2) day increments to make up the difference between the allowance
under the Workers’ Compensation Act.
