CONDUCT STUDENT TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT
The School District shall provide
safe, economical transportation to the students of the district. The use
of buses by the District shall conform to state law. School bus routes
shall be established by the Superintendent or designee.
Bus transportation will be provided
students to and from school for those students who qualify.
Transportation will be provided by the District for all extra-class
activities. Students participating in extra-class activities are
prohibited from driving personal automobiles to district-sponsored
activities held away from the school district.
Students must observe the rules and
regulations adopted by the Board governing student transportation.
Students will also be subject to the school’s behavior code while riding
school buses. The Superintendent or designee may suspend or revoke the
transportation privilege or entitlement of any student who violates any
rules or regulations adopted by the Board.
All such rules shall be published in the

handbook or copies given to students and parents at the beginning of the
school year.
The Superintendent or designee shall
require bus drivers to report any violation of said rules to the
appropriate administrator who shall take the necessary steps to
discipline students according to board policy. As a disciplinary action
for violation of board rules, a student may be refused school bus
transportation but required to attend school.
