EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES MANAGEMENT/AUTHORIZED USES DISTRICT OWNED OR LEASED VEHICLES
District owned or leased vehicles shall be driven only by district employees, exclusively for activities directly concerned with instructional programs, extra curricular programs, or operational functions of the Benton Harbor Area Schools. If a district owned or leased vehicle is used to transport students, the employee shall have a valid commercial driving license.

Employees allowed to drive district owned or leased vehicles to and from work shall use said vehicles for portal to portal transportation only. No other personal use of district vehicles shall be authorized.

A person shall not smoke on school buses or pupil transportation vehicles at any time.
