VANDALISM PROTECTION AND PROSECUTION
The Superintendent or designee is authorized to seek prosecution and/or full restitution for any damage done to school property by any student, employee, citizen, or other individual(s).  The Superintendent or designee is also authorized to take proper legal steps to secure this restitution.

Unless the parents or guardians of minors who have damaged district property make prompt and full restitution for the damage, the Superintendent or designee shall take proper legal steps on behalf of the Board to recover from the responsible party/parties and their parents/guardians the amount of damages sustained, together with the costs of such legal action.

Any student who cuts, defaces, or otherwise damages school property may be suspended or expelled in accordance with the "Uniform Code of Discipline and Students' Rights and Responsibilities" handbook.
