FIRE PREVENTION RULES
AND REGULATIONS
In addition to the regulations issued
by the Benton Harbor Fire Department and the State Fire Marshall, the
following specific rules shall be observed:
No lighted candles
shall be used and no covering of lights with inflammable materials shall
be permitted in any district building. All electrical wires used
in lighting Christmas trees and other decorations shall be approved by
the building administrator in accordance with State fire regulations.
Whenever any doubt exists as to the safety of such wires or any lighting
fixtures, the building administrator shall consult the Fire Chief of the
municipality where the building is located.
