BUSINESS MANAGEMENT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
The Board intends to exercise its
stewardship of public monies in a most conscientious manner. It is
accountable to the public for the way it spends the public's money.
The public has every
right to expect full value for every tax dollar spent. The purchasing,
receiving, storing, and distribution of supplies and equipment for use
in the educational program and auxiliary services represents a
significant expenditure in the district. These items must be procured
efficiently and economically.
Support services are
essential to the successful functioning of the district. Management of
auxiliary operations is an important responsibility of the district
administration. It should be remembered, however, that education is the
district's chief function and all support services shall be provided,
guided, and evaluated by this requirement.
