VOTING METHOD AT
SCHOOL BOARD MEETINGS
All voting of the Board shall be by
voice or roll call. On split votes, the votes of all Board members,
including abstentions, shall be recorded in the minutes.
While it is the duty of a member who has
an opinion on the question to express it by voting, any member may
abstain from voting for cause, however the effect is the same as if said
member voted on the prevailing side. Members may request that an
explanation of their vote be recorded in the minutes.
