SUMMER SESSIONS
Within budgetary limitations, the Board
shall offer elementary and secondary summer school programs of a remedial,
make-up, and enrichment nature, as well as special summer programs that
have federal or other outside funding.
The administration shall seek Board approval
for proposals for summer sessions in April of each year. The proposals
shall contain information about curriculum, staffing, budgets, and funding
sources for each program. An evaluation of the effectiveness of the
program for students, financial reports, and recommendations for future
programs shall be provided to the Board at the conclusion of the summer
sessions.
